We specialise in offering clear, practical, and tailored financial advice. Our approach is built around understanding your individual circumstances, goals, and preferences. From there, we help you put that advice into action and continue to support you along the way. We’re here for the long run and want to be part of your financial journey now and in the years to come.
Gladwell Financial offers regulated advice in the following areas:
• Life, Personal Risk & Health Insurance
• KiwiSaver
• Investments
We provide advice only on financial products from selected providers.
Our insurance partners include: AIA, Chubb Life, Partners Life, Nib, Fidelity Life, Asteron Life
Our KiwiSaver partners include: Booster, Generate, NZ Funds, Milford, Pathfinder
We provide advice on Insurance and KiwiSaver products offered by the providers listed above. When advising you, we will only consider existing term life policies. We do not offer guidance on whole of life or endowment policies—if you require assistance with those, we recommend speaking with a specialist in that area.
As outlined, the scope of our advice is limited. We will not advise on products that fall outside our qualifications or expertise. If we believe your needs would be better served by another adviser or professional, we will let you know and can refer you accordingly.
There is none. Neither Gladwell Financial nor any member of our team has been involved in a reliability event. A reliability event is something that could reasonably impact your decision to engage with us—such as legal proceedings, or a director or senior manager having been recently discharged from bankruptcy. We have never faced disciplinary action, dispute resolution, or claims of negligence.
If you decide to take out an insurance policy or join a KiwiSaver provider after receiving our advice, Gladwell Financial will receive a commission from that product provider.
Part of this commission covers our operational costs and overheads, with the remainder going to our advisers as earnings.
Occasionally, product providers may also offer non-cash rewards such as tickets, hampers, or meals as recognition for business volume.
We also maintain referral relationships with other businesses, which may result in us receiving a flat fee or a commission percentage. Referrals are only made upon your request, and any incentives will be fully disclosed.
Some of the services we offer are fee-based, particularly where there is no commission from third parties. This includes:
• Investment advice unrelated to KiwiSaver
If a fee is applicable, we will have a detailed discussion with you at the appropriate time.
At Gladwell Financial, client interests always come first. Our advice process is designed to ensure that our recommendations align closely with your specific goals and situation.
All of our financial advisers regularly receive training on identifying and managing conflicts of interest, including any gifts or incentives received.
We also conduct regular internal audits to make sure our advice is compliant, consistent with our values, and of the highest quality. Additionally, our compliance framework is reviewed annually by an external specialist to ensure it meets industry standards.
Most importantly, we are committed to long-term client relationships. We believe that putting clients first leads to better outcomes for everyone—and it’s how we’ve built our business.
If you have any concerns or issues with the service you’ve received or with any recommended financial products, we encourage you to contact us directly so we can try to resolve things promptly. You can lodge a complaint verbally or in writing to:

• If a complaint becomes a dispute, please let us know so we can formally acknowledge it.
• We will respond in writing with details of our internal process, expected timeframes, and your rights to use an external Disputes Resolution Service at any point.
• If resolution is not achieved, you may also approach the relevant product provider directly through their internal complaints process.
• If these steps don’t resolve the issue, you can then contact our external dispute resolution service:
